External collaborators
Since 2024, HVT has expanded its assistance to the girls by collaborating with other charitable organisations.
Needy families were referred to the St Vincent de Paul Society that provides monthly food rations at the St Francis Xavier Church in Petaling Jaya. So far, 4 families are on the SVP’s recipients’ list.
HVT also referred post-SPM students in need of laptop to the Medical Awareness Camp Outreach (MACO) Computer Empowerment Programme. So far, 3 girls had benefitted from the repurposed/second-hand laptop that they’re using in their pursuit of further education.
In 2025, a HVT aid recipient succeeded in obtaining the Kuok Foundation Scholarship for Secondary students. Levina A/P Saravanan became the first ‘HVT student’ to receive the financial aid for her Form Sixth education based on her excellent SPM results in 2024. With consistent good results, she has been able to retain the assistance in 2026 that will see her through the completion of her pre-university education.
